About us

If you're not applying for a current opportunity but would like to discuss your career at EWOV, please contact our People and Culture Team at careers@ewov.com.au for a confidential discussion.

The way we come together to work as a team has changed. We encourage you to check out our new, modern office filled with plants, natural light, a blend of spacious collaborative spaces, quiet solo working hubs and your own sit-to-stand work station, before making a decision about your ideal working from home/office blend.

Inclusion, diversity and equality

At EWOV we are committed to a family-friendly and inclusive workplace. Our policies support making employment an equal playing field for all of our people, including:

  • leading parental leave entitlements of 18 weeks of flexible, paid leave equal for all new parents regardless of gender identity or primary/secondary carer status
  • swapping public holidays for other days of personal cultural significance
  • genuine flexible approach to hybrid working
  • a passionate and collaborative Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Committee.

Additional leave

We love to give back to our people, the ones who put their hearts into the work we do at EWOV. In addition to all of the usual leave entitlements, we also encourage you to take rostered days off, birthday leave, anniversary leave and Christmas/New Year shut down leave.

Wellbeing

We’re proud to offer an award-winning wellbeing program, where we live and learn physical, mental and social wellbeing. In any given month, you could hear from an inspiring guest speaker, volunteer for social good or compete in a group fitness challenge. For the times when you need extra or individual support, we’ll provide you and your family members with free counselling or psychology sessions.

Growth

It’s not the number of years you’re here at EWOV, it’s what you do with them. Growth is important, which is why we have a capability budget for all staff that includes sponsorship to study, personal development opportunities tailored to you and a broader annual capability program across EWOV.

Our cultural values set out the way we come together to work. They set our expectations for behaviour at all levels, including senior leadership, managers and staff. We test our business decisions and our behaviours against our values at every level.

Do the right thing

We have the courage to do the right thing

Our work relies on trust and transparency with each other and our customers. Doing the right thing isn’t always easy, but it’s the fair thing to do.

Aim high

We aim high

We have a big responsibility to help our community and create a fair energy and water market for all Victorians. We demonstrate excellence in everything we do. We actively seek insights from our customers and use our information to create solutions that aim to exceed their expectations.

We are creative

We are creative

We face our fear of the unknown and embrace purposeful change by using our insights and our experience for guidance. We refute autopilot and think creatively as our standard way of working. If we take a risk and fail or make a mistake, we reflect, and are better from having grown from our experience.

Together we are different

Together, we are different

We intentionally come together to collaborate, listen and learn from each other’s knowledge and strengths. We value diversity and inclusion of thought, people, backgrounds and experiences. We provide a better service when we consider the impact on people from all walks of life.
